Apple Gouda Stuffed Chicken Ingredients

  • (2) fresh chicken breasts

  • (1) honey crisp apple - sliced

  • Gouda cheese

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 2 tbsp agave nectar

  • 2 tsp dijon mustard

  • 1/4 tsp thyme

  • (1) garlic clove - minced

Directions

  • Whisk dijon, thyme, garlic, and agave for your glaze then set aside

  • Cut 3/4 slit into chicken breast and then season with salt and pepper

  • Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat and add a splash of olive oil

  • Sear chicken on each side 2-3 minutes

  • Remove chicken and stuff with apples and gouda

  • Return chicken back to cast iron and brush with glaze

  • Place cast iron in oven at 400F and bake for 20 minutes

  • Enjoy!
