High Protein Sausage Lemon Brussel Pasta with a Kick Ingredients - Serves 4

  • 1 box rotini Banza

  • 1 lb Italian sausage

  • 1 bag shredded Brussels

  • 2 garlic cloves - minced

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1/2 lemon - squeezed

  • 1 tbsp lemon zest

  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan

  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes

Directions

  • Cook pasta per package directions

  • Add olive oil to pan and heat

  • Add Brussels and garlic, then cover and cook on medium/low heat for 10 minutes

  • Push to the side & add sausage

  • Ground sausage till cooked (about 10 minutes)

  • Add squeezed lemon, zest, and red pepper flakes to cooked and drained pasta, then mix well

  • Top with Parmesan cheese

  • Enjoy!
