High Protein Sausage Lemon Brussel Pasta with a Kick Ingredients - Serves 4
1 box rotini Banza
1 lb Italian sausage
1 bag shredded Brussels
2 garlic cloves - minced
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 lemon - squeezed
1 tbsp lemon zest
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan
1 tsp red pepper flakes
Directions
Cook pasta per package directions
Add olive oil to pan and heat
Add Brussels and garlic, then cover and cook on medium/low heat for 10 minutes
Push to the side & add sausage
Ground sausage till cooked (about 10 minutes)
Add squeezed lemon, zest, and red pepper flakes to cooked and drained pasta, then mix well
Top with Parmesan cheese
